A Quote by Stephen J. Gould—
"When people learn no tools of judgement and merely follow their hopes—the seeds of political manipulation are sown."

Hopes—and concomitant with hopes are found beliefs—generally originate from the domain of the emotions (emotional quadrant), and as such are not grounded in reason, logic, nor common sense. Reason, logic, and common sense are grounded in the thinking domain (thinking quadrant) of the individual. Therefore, for one to rely on their emotional quadrant for decision making—the basis of which rests upon hopes, dreams, and beliefs—can only lead to wrong results and outcomes. And even more so if one's emotions are distorted and repressed, and one has totally wrong attitudes and understanding about the emotions. —JDM

This is another example of how kids are brainwashed by parents, etc. These kids have no idea based upon any amount of reason or logic what they are doing. The parents are committing a heinous and offensive act. That's why it is written in Matthew 18:6—Whoever offends one of these little ones... it would be better that a millstone were hung on their necks and they were drowned in the depths of the sea.

Of course, people say to me, "So you think the parents should be drowned in the depths of the sea for their act—what does that make you, the arbiter of justice?" No, that's not what I'm saying. The verse is simply comparing two heinous acts, and concludes that drowning the offenders in the depths of the sea is a presumably less heinous act than that of brainwashing and offending these young impressionable minds—filling them with hate!

And unless these kids can find a way to dig themselves out of this mire and pit which their parents, caregivers, teachers, the government, whoever, have dug for them—they are still responsible for themselves and any acts they commit because of it. But the odds of the kids happening upon any 'fortuitous grace' to extract themselves from it are very slim.
